Mr Nandakishore M Madhekar graduated with a B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) from IIT Bombay in

1980, in first class. He then obtained his Master’s degree, also in Chemical Engineering, from Virginia

Tech, Blacksburg, USA. After working in the US and India for a while, he started Innovative Chemical

Technologies LLP, Pune, where he is presently a designated partner. He has designed and upgraded

several hundreds of distillation plants, within as well as outside India. Mr Madhekar has worked

extensively in this field, and has pioneered new techniques. He has decades of expertise in batch,

continuous, azeotropic, reactive and extractive multicomponent separations at atmospheric,

vacuum and high-pressures.
